About

It is always hard to write something about yourself, but I put myself together and wrote a few lines, so I will not be like some John Doe.

I am not like every other photographer. I did not get my camera when I was a little kid and I did not attend any school’s photography club. I also do not have a photography degree. I just do what I love and I love what I do… that is taking photos.

I started to learn photography less than ten years ago. First shots with my hard earned compact camera were mostly for fun. Since I love traveling, I soon started to combine it with photography. Capturing moments with my camera, while I explore new places and cultures, are the reason why I kept travel photography as my favorite kind of photography.
Soon after I started, my compact camera was not enough anymore, so I moved to a bigger “cow”. SLR was necessary for my progress. Now, my equipment became bigger than I have ever imagined.
Recently, I started with wedding, studio, concert and portrait photography. I do not rate myself as an expert, but I try to make my customers satisfied. So far, the feedback is great.
Of course, I do have other interests in my life. Climbing mountains is one of my main hobbies and it can be nicely combined with photography. My top climbing destinations were Himalayas, where I climbed 6189 m high Island Peak. Before that, I reached the summit of Africa’s highest mountain – Kilimanjaro (5085 m). There are many dreams for the future and I hope I will be able to catch them.

Born in Slovenia, back in time when Elvis Presley has still ruled the stages and The Rolling Stones started to rock’n’roll around the world.
Maybe that was the reason, why I like visiting concerts. Recently I managed to see legends like: Tina Turner, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, U2, Freddy Cole, Metallica, Status Quo, Simply Red, Queen, ZZ Top, Bryan Adams and many more.
My portfolio does not contain many concert photos, because it is hard to take good ones and enjoy the show simultaneously. That is why I mostly leave my camera at home and let myself to music.

Feel free to contact me if you have any comments or suggestions and especially if you would like me as your photographer.
